Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has issued a notice to HUM TV's show Kitni Girhain Baaki Hain for airing Lesbian couple content in one of its scenes. A warning that was issued by PEMRA yesterday expressed that the subject of homosexuality is against our social, moral and societal standards and values because of which watchers stopped a few grumblings on Twitter requesting that PEMRA make strict move against HUM TV. The notice expressed that the scene, which publicized on 29th January 2017, demonstrates two female performers, Sania Saeed and Farah Shah connected in a sentimental relationship - a topic which was met with "extraordinary feedback" as it touches upon the unthinkable theme of homosexuality and was instantly considered wrong.
