Numerous in India have required the boycott of Pakistani artist in India and the other way around.
Now, a DNA report has sent shockwaves throughout Bollywood and it's artists after it claimed that Mahira Khan has been dropped from Shah Rukh Khan's film.
The report went ahead to include that, "It was a very painful decision for producer Ritesh Sidhwani to take. The pressure to replace her had been building up for months. It reached a crescendo after the Uri attacks. It came to a point where it became impossible to shoot with any Pakistani. People suggested all kinds of solutions to the impasse, including shooting in Dubai. But it didn't seem viable. Now, Mahira has unfortunately been relieved of her duties."
The Pakistani performer Mahira Khan not long ago condemned the Uri attack , saying she appeals to God for a more quiet world. Fawad Khan, who stars in forthcoming Bollywood film "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", likewise ended his quiet over the assault in a Facebook post.
The Raees team need to discover a swap for Mahira Khan in under two weeks.
