NEW YORK: A 12-year-old Muslim kid student with learning disabilities was forced by New York school authorities to sign a false confession expressing he is a "terrorist," his family claimed a $50 million federal lawsuit.
Nashwan Uppal, a seventh grader at a center school in East Islip, New York, was harassed by bullies who called him a terrorist and forced to recognize what he wanted to "blow up next," as per the lawsuit.
Uppal, who did not comprehend what they were stating because of his disabilities, inevitably reacted that he would explode the wall outside the school, the dissension said.
Taking after the occurrence, school authorities hollered at Nashwan and forced him to concede him to admit he is a member of Daesh (Islamic State) before forcing him to sign a false confession and seeking his things, the claim said.
Cops were also called and looked Nashwan's home, according to the lawsuit.
