Thousands of people , supporters and fans went to the Namaz e janaza funeral prayers of Amjad Sabri, the renowned qawwal who was shot dead with no attempt at being subtle in Liaquatabad here a day prior.
Sabri was buried in the Paposhnagar Graveyard, beside his dad, qawwali maestro Ghulam Farid Sabri.
His namaz-i-janaza was held after Zuhr at Furqania Masjid in Liaquatabad, which is likewise where the eminent vocalist lived. Sad grievers showered flower petals over a ambulance conveying the pine box of Sabri to his residence.
An influx of pain and stun held the nation on Wednesday when equipped motorcyclists splashed Sabri with slugs without trying to hide in Liaquatabad territory when the 45-year-old was going to a private TV direct to perform in its Ramazan transmission.
